Story
Henry is an ordinary resident of America of 1980, who was unlucky in a relationship and, having surrendered, decided to escape from his grief, settling a sentinel for fires in the forest for the summer. Such work consists in life on a tower in the middle of the forest and informing special services in the event of a fire. The work is calm and measured. Arriving on his tower, Henry is associated with the authorities – a girl on a neighboring tower named Delaila. Her voice will soon become sweeter than any music for you. History is developing. Slowly, starting from walking through the forest and sarcastic and playful negotiations with Delaila through a small yellow walkie -talkie. And in this radio lies half of pleasure from the game. Delaila jokes, sarcastically responds to our replicas, franks and causes us frankness. Through this radio there are quarrels, reconciliation, and even a little erotic. After some time, walking through the forest you will already look for something that you can pay attention to Delaila in order to just hear her voice and sarcastic notes in the voice. And against the background at this time, several parallel history takes place, to which our heroes react. Two girls who let fireworks, missing firefighters, found a man’s backpack, who disappeared quite a long time. All this is discussed and addictive to its world. And it seems that everything will be fine and calm. Days change each other and nothing happens. But once in the conversation between Henry and Delaila, someone three, who accidentally cough. Strange things begin to happen from this moment. On this day, a fire begins, which flares up as the plot develops and turn it into a tense psychological thriller. This fire illustrates the thread of incandescent of the plot. The plot itself is served by chapters, or rather days. After the end of the next segment, we are simply transferred to the next day (the number of the day from the start of work is indicated) and a new part of the narrative begins. In fact, the game has a serial structure, but in a more digestible wrapper for a whole game.
Do not sit on a stump
Gameplay, as I said above, this is a pure booty without impurities. We walk through the forest, noticing various unusual or just beautiful things and we can talk about them with Delaila. In addition to at least we will still have to go down and climb the ropes on landslides (one of which can even be called somehow, how, however, a fire), cut the impenetrable thickets with an ax and jump from a fairly high altitude without insurance. And all this would be good and no more, but the game is insanely beautiful. No, not in terms of technology, but in the sense of visual design. Knowing this, the developers at some point give the player a camera in 24 photos, but only 17 unused in it. This is also a part of the plot that is revealed already in the final credits. Nevertheless, Delaila herself pushes us to photograph everything that seems beautiful and interesting. And there is a lot of this in the game. I very often fought with the temptation to spend a lot of personnel at once in order to save them to the final. And did not lose. After the end of the game, all pictures from the camera can be downloaded to the developer’s website and even buy in printed form for 3 dollars.
Technologically, the game is not enough from the sky of stars and cannot boast of good optimization. She warms the video card quite seriously and because of this FPS indicators can fall, which is not very pleasant, but quite tolerant.
An interesting, protracting and extremely interesting booty, capable of giving 5 hours in another world. To visit a simple human story that will make you laugh and worry like this is not a game, but a good movie. Of course, 420 rubles are expensive, but at a discount, everyone who appreciates the plot and directing in games, is obliged to buy it.
